Abu Dharr said, “O Umar. I was afraid that no one would say that the good has been taken away from the people." Syed Umar paused for a moment and then asked these two young men what they are saying now. The youth whose father had died cried and said, "O Ameerul Momineen." We forgive him because of his honesty. We fear that no one will say that forgiveness and mercy have been taken away from the people." Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, shouted Allahu Akbar, and tears began to fall down his beard. . . . . said " Hey guys . May Allah reward you for your forgiveness" "O Abu Dharr. May Allah reward you for helping this person in his distress." And oh man. May Allah reward you for your faithfulness and honesty." And O Ameerul Momineen. May Allah reward you for your justice and kindness."
